Is there anyone else in the country who finds the clocks going back to GMT makes them really tired, grumpy and fed up.
Here’s to months of dark, depressing days and Seasonal Affective Disorder. What fun.

I feel more hopeful as I’ve just bought a small light box to sit on my desk. I expect better things as a result. Fingers crossed xx

I am the complete opposite, if I could move to the coldest darkest part of the world I would! Then again I always knew I was crazy…

Alison, I believe the darkest country is Finland. But the coldest country on the planet is Canada. I’d aim for Canada, the languages are easier to learn and only 2% of us have manic depression compared to 121% of Finns.
The problem with moving the clocks around like we do is it breaks sleeping patterns which, for those of us with a disease which messes with our sleeping patterns, is not easy to get over… I spent all of last week living in the dark. It’s very important we stock up on Vitamin D (Vitamin Sunshine), either in pill form or by drinking lots of milk. A multivitamin should be standard every morning.
